In total CAMAR used more than 1.000m3 of material which was mined in its rough state from its place of origin in massive blocks and transported to our factory in Macael, Almeria, Spain.
From this material we extracted 350m3 of grey Granite of Alpedrete for the ground floor. For the first floor and penthouse floor, CAMAR used 650m3 of white Alconera marble. Also, CAMAR used 75m3 of Statuario Michelangelo for the singular elements. This is the same marble as used by Michelangelo for his sculptures. The final 5m3 were the Sandstone selected for the keystones of the arches.
On the completion of these works, CAMAR was praised both by the people responsible for the Bank of Spain and the architect studio of Rafael Moneo Valles for the project's success.
